The Softball Queensland Under 12 Club Carnival's purpose is to provide an opportunity for clubs to participate in a fun, carnival atmosphere. The emphasis is on participation and development.

Teams will have the opportunity to play as many games as possible in the one day carnival. Results will be recorded for each game to determine the carnival ladder. As the carnival is about participation and fun, there will be no finals and no champion awarded.

Coaches and team officials are encouraged to uphold the purpose of the carnival by providing players with a fun experience and providing all players the same opportunity to participate in the carnival. The emphasis should not focus on winning, but instead developing their skills in the game of softball and having an enjoyable day. This is not an opportunity for a district representative team to enter, the emphasis is on club participation.
