Congratulations to all of the teams who participated in the 2024 Murri Women’s Softball Tournament on the weekend, 1st – 2nd June, at Logan City Softball Association. It was great to see so many of you there to celebrate 10 years of the tournament!

Thank you to all participating players and officials, the Logan City Softball Association, Tournament Convenor Margaret Gorman, President David Hill, Meakin Park, canteen staff, and all volunteers for their efforts behind the scenes and for making the event such a success.

Special thanks to Mick Gorman for keeping the diamonds in fantastic condition, along with Tournament Chief Umpire Steven Durrington and his team of umpires, and Joy Leach for managing all the tournament statistics.

We also extend our gratitude to PLO Officer Kelly Ryan for her attendance, the Nunukul Yuggera Aboriginal Dance Company, Kylie Hill for the amazing shirt designs and MVP Grand Final Awards, Jane Churchill for livestreaming and Dropkicks Podcast for interviewing players and taking photos over the weekend. 

Lastly, thank you to the SRG Group for their assistance in the buildup and organization of the event.
