The Purpose of the State Youth Council (SYC) is to:

To facilitate the self-actualisation and empowerment of young people within Queensland's softball community by enabling their voices to be actively engaged in guiding the strategic planning, assessment, and execution of softball initiatives throughout the state.

Disseminate the insights and knowledge collected from the young members of Queensland's Softball community to contribute to the growth and advancement of the sport.

Establish a platform for dialogue and the provision of input on pertinent matters concerning the overall experience of athletes, officials, and volunteers involved in Softball across Queensland.

Foster the identification and nurturing of emerging talents within the sport, cultivating their leadership potential and providing them with opportunities for personal and professional growth, as a result, ensuring a robust and sustainable future for the sport.
